Teachers at Sunset Elementary School consistently use Instructional Mini Test data to set goals for themselves and with students during grade level PLCs and on staff development days.

Data is printed in several formats (whole class, groups, individual) for each grade level and teacher, depending on subjects and standards being discussed.
Considerations:
Results are analyzed by grade level, class, and school. Trends are noted, and problems and solutions are shared and discussed.
Determinations for instruction:
Teachers take this knowledge back to the classroom and use it to facilitate important one-on-one discussions with students to set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate accomplishments.
Variations & Next Steps:
As students see their progression, they are more engaged in the learning process. Teachers make goals to reach as well. Information can be shared at future PLCs and staff development.
